The Roman Tribute (1850)
Actors’ scripts and a director’s master script (complete with staging cues—e.g. “trumpets sound”) that were used for performances in Philadelphia, November 1850 are held in the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library, University of Virginia. See image to the right—>
